DRIVEGREEN, the government authorized Vehicle Emission Testing Provider received the ISO/ IEC 17020:2012 accreditation in year 2016 from the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) for the first time in South Asian region for managing and increasing the quality, accuracy of Vehicle Emission Testing and implementing process controls, efficiency of the procedures. However, this internationally recognized ISO 17020 standard puts greater emphasis on ability to manage impartiality and conflicts of interest as well as the technical competence of staff, inspection processes, and equipment under the Vehicle Emission Testing as well.
This ISO Accredited Vehicle Emission Testing provides assurance of technically competent service and consistently reliable results, reducing costs and lowering risks. Also, it is a key in demonstrating equipment, procedures and systems meet required specifications too.
We are proud to say that, now we have 35% of accredited Drivegreen Vehicle Emission Testing Centers covering all Districts island wide and we hope to expand the accredited centers more in near future.
